The number in the product description, denotes the number of Irrigation Units (IU) that the product is typically capable of supplying. An Irrigation Unit (IU) is equivalent to the water required by a typical 20ltr tomato plant, or two pepper plants. One IU is also equivalent to the water required by 1m of your flower or vegetable bed. Our irrigation kits are available in Water Butt Series standard kits of 12 and 24 IU’s, and the larger capacity Tank Series, 60, 120 and 180 IU’s. They are perfect for small to larger gardens and are ideal for automatic watering at heights of up to 5 metres.
